Heavenly Father,
We come before You today grateful—for life, for this moment, and for the living hope You’ve given us through Jesus Christ. You have met us not in perfection, but right in the middle of our questions, our doubts, and our everyday lives—and for that, we thank You.
Lord, like the disciples, we know what it feels like to be behind closed doors—worried, uncertain, unsure of what comes next. But You step into those spaces and speak peace. So today, we receive that peace. Let it settle our minds, calm our hearts, and remind us that You are with us.
Members of our church family and neighborhood are in need of your comfort. Please bring your loving care to all who are suffering.
God, give us courage to live differently. When the world pulls us in one direction, help us to follow You first. Help us to choose obedience, even when it’s uncomfortable… even when it costs something… trusting that Your way is always better.
And Father, shape our hearts to reflect Yours. Teach us to bless instead of repay hurt, to show kindness instead of judgment, and to love even when it’s hard. In a world that can be quick to divide, make us people who bring grace, mercy, and healing.
Jesus, thank You for showing up—even to those who doubted. Thank You that faith doesn’t require perfection, just a willingness to trust You. Strengthen our faith today. Help us to believe more deeply, to see You more clearly, and to live as people who carry Your hope into the world.
And as we go from here, remind us that we are sent—just as You sent Your disciples—to bring Your peace, Your truth, and Your love to those who need it most.
We pray all of this in the name of our risen Savior, Jesus Christ,
AMEN
