Creator God,
In the beginning, You spoke light into darkness, order into chaos, and life into a world that had never known it. With wisdom and love, You formed the heavens and the earth, the oceans and the skies, every creature that moves and breathes. And when You created humanity, You declared that we were made in Your image—known, loved, and called good.
Lord, thank You for the gift of life, for the beauty of Your creation, and for the purpose You have given each of us. Help us to be faithful stewards of all You have entrusted to us.
We confess that, like Adam and Eve, we often choose our own way instead of Yours. We allow fear, pride, and temptation to pull us away from Your will. Yet even in our brokenness, You do not abandon us. Your response to sin was not rejection, but redemption. You came looking for Your children, calling out, “Where are you?” and offering hope for the future.
As we gather in worship, remind us that Your grace is greater than our failures. Renew our hearts, restore our spirits, and help us walk closely with You. May Your Holy Spirit shape us into people who reflect Your image—people who bring light, love, peace, and hope wherever we go.
And as we worship, may we marvel once again at the wonder of being known by our Creator and loved by our Redeemer.
