Heavenly Father,
Today as we listen to story of Ruth, we are reminded that You are always at work, even when we cannot see it.
Lord, there are times in our lives when the road ahead feels uncertain. Like Ruth and Naomi, we face seasons of loss, change, disappointment, and questions about what comes next. Yet through their story, You show us that Your faithfulness never fails. When they could not see the bigger picture, You were already preparing a future filled with hope.
Help us to trust that you are at work in and through the ordinary moments of our lives. Help us to be faithful in our families, our friendships, our workplaces, and our communities. Give us hearts like Ruth—hearts that choose love over convenience, commitment over comfort, and faith over fear.
Lord, remind us that no one walks alone. Just as Ruth stood beside Naomi, help us to stand beside one another. Open our eyes to those who are hurting, lonely, struggling, or carrying burdens too heavy to bear by themselves. Show us how to be Your hands and Your feet, offering kindness, encouragement, and practical help.
And Lord, as we leave this place, help us remember that You often accomplish extraordinary things through ordinary acts of faithfulness. May we trust that you are leading us, follow where You call, and like Boaz, become a blessing to those around us.
In the name of Jesus, our Redeemer and our hope, we pray.
Amen.
