Visiting a church can feel intimidating — especially if it’s been a while. At Grace UCC, you’ll find a friendly, down-to-earth community where questions are welcome and no one expects you to have it all figured out.
Our church is located at 49 W. Baltimore Street in Taneytown. Parking is behind the church. Handicap parking, entrance and elevator to the sanctuary are located on the left side when facing the church.
We offer two different services. One for those that enjoy a traditional service and liturgy and one with modern contemporary worship music and more relaxed worship experience.
On Sunday morning we ring the bell at 10:00 to let people know the Traditional service will be starting soon. At 10:10 we have announcements followed by the service starting at 10:15. Sunday School for our youth is held the 2nd and 3rd Sunday of each month during the traditional service.
Our Wednesday evening Contemporary service starts at 6:00 pm with socializing and refreshments with the service starting at 6:30pm
Both services are “come as you are”. You’ll find a wide variety of dress from jeans to business casual. . It’s more important to show up than to show off.
