At Grace UCC, there are many ways to serve—both within our church and throughout the Taneytown community. Whether you have a heart for helping others, a gift for creativity, or a passion for worship, there’s a place for you.
Care & Support Ministries
Son Shine Ministry Support and care for others through coordinating funeral meals, visiting those who are homebound, sending cards, and helping with transportation to medical appointments.
Hospitality & Outreach
Sign Ministry Help create a welcoming first impression by updating our outdoor sign with uplifting messages and sharing upcoming events with the community.
Carpenter’s Table Join a community-wide effort to serve meals to those in need every six weeks. Additional opportunities include supporting our weekly food collection, shoe ministry, and seasonal outreach events.
Worship & Service Experience
AV (Audio/Visual) Ministry Play a key role in our worship services by managing sound, creating visual presentations, and helping share services with those who cannot attend in person.
Music & Worship Team Collaborate with others to enhance the worship experience through music and creative elements that inspire and engage.
Altar Guild Prepare and decorate the worship space to reflect the church season, helping create a meaningful and welcoming environment for all.
Community Impact
Red Cross Blood Drives Serve the broader community by helping organize, set up, and support blood drives hosted at the church several times each year.
